Analyst, Pricing & Promotions
Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Pricing and Promotions Manager, you will support the strategy and decision-making regarding pricing, discount rates and promotions for Coach & Kate Spade Europe’s Outlet Business.
The role will support in partnering with Buying Managers, Inventory teams of each channel and the Senior Directors of Buying to ensure a clear understanding of the impact of pricing decisions on both sales and margin, and to help generate recommendations to maximize both metrics within agreed discount rates.
This role is also responsible for the execution of pricing decisions and supporting all key stakeholders in ensuring seamless implementation.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Pricing & Promotions to…
- Run weekly pricing reports with accuracy and share actions with the Buying team accordingly
- Key support in the preparation of trade reports, upcoming weekly price changes and
promotions and present these in weekly trade meetings with supporting data to validate - Own and maintain promotional calendars for CE/KS Outlet with great accuracy – to form part
of key weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions and trading decisions - Support in the yearly promotional planning of trading calendars across both brands, eventually taking full ownership of 1 brand with Line Manager support
- Key support in monthly SMI meetings by working through various projections and scenario
analysis to be presented back Senior management for approval - Take full ownership for mapping and executing weekly system pricing/promotion changes in SAP with accuracy and owning the approvals process
- Be the gatekeeper for all weekly store communications (promos and buying updates) and send these out to the Comms team by the agreed deadlines
- Be a key store support for any pricing and promotions callouts and rectify any issues within
agreed deadlines - Provide key support by partnering with the Promotions Manager and Buying Teams to develop pricing and promotion strategies to drive key KPI’s (sales, inventory, AUR, discount rate and margin) in order to meet and exceed company objectives
- Support with ad hoc analysis to support pricing and promotional recommendations to Line
Manager - Lead the monthly Area Manager calls to understand local market needs around promotional /
store events. Propose recommendations to Line Manager based on historic performance - Maintain accurate pricing master files for Outlet and action all system changes to activate price changes and promotions in a timely and accurate manner

The accomplished individual will possess…
- Strong Excel skills with demonstrated proficiency in building reports and analytical tools (V-
lookups, pivot tables, sumif, etc)
- Prior use of SAP, Microstrategy would be advantageous (but not essential)
- Ability to think logically, problem solve and provide recommendations through analysis
- Demonstrate proficiency in retail math
- Ability to work in a fast paced, retail environment
- Strong communication skills and super organised
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with cross-functional
