Senior Finance Analyst – FP&A (Business Change)

As a Senior Finance Analyst at ASOS you will have responsibility for partnering with the business to help to deliver the long-term financial plan. This role supports our operational excellence team and the wider business to manage and track strategic workstreams/programmes that underpin our long-term strategy. You will be a fundamental part of the wider finance team and help contribute to the success of both finance and ASOS.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Key financial support and business partner for the operational excellence business teamOverseeing preparation of business cases for all operational excellence projects (for example – end to end improvements on returns processes and returns rates), business partnering with finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure financial details are complete and accurate and key information is recorded
  • Owning weekly and monthly tracking of all projects within the operational excellence portfolio, updating on financial benefit tracking alongside milestones, actions and any risks/opportunities
  • Primary finance and data support for end-to-end process review and value stream mapping
  • Overseeing post investment reviews on all projects and working on recommendations with business partners
  • Key support to 3PL (our warehouse management) sites in attaching financial benefits to their improvement projects outlined in their strategic deployment
  • Driving improvements to business case and financial benefit tracking processes

We’d love to meet someone with…

  • An accounting qualification (preferably ACA, ACCA, CA or CIMA)
  • Business partnering experience
  • A proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Good financial modelling and Excel skills
  • Commercial awareness
  •  Good communication/ interpersonal skills
  • The ability to be proactive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
