Why is diversity and inclusion important to your company?
Our purpose is to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and the same goes for our people.
We know diversity and inclusion is important to our customers and people, and a key part of that is making sure we represent them in an authentic way.
We believe that by building a truly inclusive culture across every aspect of our business, we can empower everyone to be their authentic self. Because that’s when we’ll achieve amazing things as a company.

What is the culture that you foster within your company?
We’re proud of the culture we’ve built at ASOS. Our focus is on facilitating a working environment which supports all our employees to develop and grow, which helps them balance their lives in a way that works for them and allows them to be their authentic selves.
We’re committed to building that truly inclusive workplace and have made significant progress, recognising that we can’t transform overnight.
From introducing a package of policies that provides crucial support to colleagues of all genders and circumstances going through health-related life events and driving DEI education and awareness across the business, to setting targets to diversify our talent pipeline and improve female and ethnic minority representation in leadership and engineering, product and science roles, we’re committed to continuing on this journey and constantly improving for our people and customers.
We’re passionate about the development of our people and invest a lot in their growth and development. Our dedicated Learning and Development Team offers a range of tailored learning solutions including career coaching, mentorship schemes, team development days, career planning and sponsored qualification support.
How do you support personal development?
In addition to this, we facilitate DEI learning through a host of resources and training for all our people on our DEI ‘All IN’ Hub which launched in January 2022. In June, we also launched a monthly events series which aims to educate and uplift our ASOSers on all aspects of DEI.
